‘NAGARAKATTE’ – ONE FOR SHANKER NAG MEMORY

In this cinema inside cinema the protagonist Aneesh Thejaswar as protagonist playing director role achieves a distinction in solving the issue of his people. It is a social issue that the protagonist solves in ‘Nagarakatte’ that is a tribute to late Shanker Nag. The film is inspired from Shanker Nag. Even Shanker Nag had dreams to get fulfilled for society. That could not happen because destiny snatched him.

Director Shanker has entrusted the responsibility to hero Aneesh whose name in the film is Shanker. It is a suspense thriller and home town of Shanker Nag Honnavara is also shooting spot. First half is Teju alias Niharika from this film while Shravya plays second half heroine. The shoot will begin at Bengaluru and move to Magadi, Srirangapatna, Madikeri, Mysooru, Chickmagaluru surroundings. The happenings in the life of director Shanker of ‘18th Cross’ Kannada cinema could be found in this film. Director Shanker is also producer with a few of his friends. Avinash, Sharat Lohitashva, Chikkanna are also in the cast.

Aneesh Tejashwar has given a small pause for his career and coming with lot of workout for this film with three shades. He also looks rocking with good physique. After hearing the script he decided to stop his pause and come before the camera. It is a not a normal film he assures.

Teju of ‘Chingari’ changed her name to Niharika (name of Ramesh Aravind daughter) from this film. This is extraordinary film and filled with suspense she says. Shravya has come out from homely role to a chilling performance oriented role.

Giri Dinesh is playing cameraman inside the film with Chikkanna to his company. He is back after ‘Navagraha’ Kannada cinema. Dwarakish has a pretty good role to play in this film.

Chikkanna was in Robo costume. It is a small role he gets in the film but has a pretty good comedy that is away from usual roles he plays.

Kari Subbu has liked the energy in director Shanker. Subbanna plays producer role in the film who helps the hero in the film.
